You can use this website without providing personal data. Where personal data is processed, this is done only for the purposes described below and on the legal bases stated.

3. Server log files

When you visit this site, the hosting provider automatically records information that your browser transmits, in so-called server log files. This typically includes: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer (IP address), and the date and time of the server request. This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and is not combined with other data sources.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected.

4. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services, no profiling, and no third-party advertising.

5. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, the data you provide (your email address, your name where applicable, and the content of your message) will be stored for the purpose of handling your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering or performing a contract) or Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

The data is deleted once it is no longer needed for the request and where statutory retention obligations do not apply.

6. The Loopster app

The Loopster Mac app processes no personal data. It does not require an internet connection, does not transmit any data, and contains no analytics or tracking components. All settings (playlists, songs, tempo, pitch, locators, loops) are stored locally on your Mac.

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
